Holiday Treasures Gift Shop is the brand name of the school holiday shop program operated by Fun One, Inc., doing business as Fun Events. This policy covers Fun One, Inc. ("Holiday Treasures", "we"). It explains what information we collect through our websites, school dashboards, e-mail and text messages, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- School and contact details given to us by schools and parent groups: school name and address, and the names, titles, e-mail addresses and phone numbers of chairpersons and other contacts.
- Shop records: contracts, shop dates, sales totals, reorders and invoices for a school's shop.
- Information families choose to give on a school's gift preview site, such as a wish list or a Prepaid Shopping Wallet. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers.
- Messages you send us by web form, e-mail or text.
- Basic visit information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or state) and device type, used to keep the sites working and to understand how they are used.
How we use it
- To set up, deliver, support and bill a school's holiday shop.
- To answer questions and send notices about a shop.
- To send newsletters and announcements to school contacts, who can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every e-mail.
- To send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them (see below).
- To keep our sites secure and improve them.
Text messages
We send text messages only to people who have opted in, as described in our Text Messaging Terms. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and consent are shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (our messaging carrier), and only for that purpose.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect information to sell as leads. We share information only with service providers that help us run our business (for example payment processing, shipping carriers, e-mail and text delivery), who may use it only to provide that service to us, and when required by law.
Children
Our shops serve students at school, but our websites and messages are directed to adults: chairpersons, school staff and parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
Cookies
We use cookies needed for the sites to work, such as keeping you signed in to a dashboard or remembering a wish list. We do not use advertising cookies.
Keeping information safe
We limit access to school and family information to the staff who need it, protect dashboards with passwords and keep records only as long as needed to run the shops and meet legal and accounting requirements.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, unsubscribe from e-mail with the link in any message, or stop texts by replying STOP. Contact us at the address below.
